Who We Are

Mark G. Stegink, ChFC®, CFP®

I am married to Jodi and have two sons, Trent and Wil. I grew up in Grand Rapids and have now lived in Grand Haven for over 22 years. We love living near the shore of Lake Michigan.

I have a passion for hiking and exploring nature and have a personal goal of hiking trails in each of the 50 states. In addition, I would like to hike to the peak of at least 50 mountains. So far, the tallest mountain peak I have reached is Mount Elbert in Colorado (picture above) and my favorite family hike has been to Mills Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park (picture below).

Being an advisor to my clients is truly a joy. My goal is to build a long-term, trusting relationship with each client. I desire to understand their current and ideal situation, and, by taking the role of a partner, walk alongside them on their personal path.

Serving in this industry and working with a wide variety of clients provides a consistently changing set of problems to solve and concepts to learn. Complacency is not a viable option and a love of learning is absolutely essential.

Life is a challenge for all of us. As a father, husband, friend and/or advisor I have a responsibility to help those I have a relationship with through their life challenges, learning from them along the way. That is a role that I am passionate about.
